Apex Essays runs a real, in-house team of postgraduate subject specialists — a dedicated expert for every discipline, trusted by students since 2012.
The profiles above are the team; the practical details live in one place. Our essay writing help hub covers what an order includes, how pricing works from $7.89 per page, and the checks a writer passes before taking a brief. If you want to hire an essay writer for a full paper, the same page explains how a brief is matched on subject, citation style, and deadline — and what your options are if the first match is not right.
Credentials come before payment: our expert essay writers are described there with degrees, order counts, and student ratings, so you decide with the facts in front of you. Subject briefs go to subject people — persuasive essay writers for argument-driven prompts, dedicated nursing essay help for clinical work — and a free quote comes before any commitment.
Apex Essays is a professional essay writing service for students across the United States. Since 2012, we have helped thousands of learners hand in original, well-researched papers on time — from a single college essay to a full dissertation. When your schedule is stretched between classes, work, and family, you can hand the writing to a subject-qualified expert and keep control of your grades.
Every order is written from scratch to your exact brief, checked for originality, and formatted in your required style (APA, MLA, Chicago, or Harvard). You keep full ownership of the finished work, communicate with your writer throughout, and receive free revisions until it matches your instructions. And because everything runs online, students searching for “writing services near me” get the same expert support wherever in the US they study — no local office required.
No templates and no recycled papers. Each essay is researched and written for your specific topic, then checked with plagiarism-detection tools before delivery.
Your paper goes to a writer with a postgraduate qualification in your field — nursing to law, finance to computer science — so the argument and terminology are accurate.
Choose a deadline that works for you. We accept tight timelines — including same-day work when capacity allows — and plan backward so you never miss a submission.
If something needs adjusting, tell us and we refine it at no extra cost. If a delivered paper does not meet the agreed brief, our refund policy protects you.
Students come to us for far more than standard essays. Whichever paper or discipline you are working on, there is a dedicated expert for it.
Our paper writing service covers the long, source-based work a degree runs on. College and admission essays, research papers, term papers, theses and dissertations, literature reviews, case studies, lab reports, book reports, annotated bibliographies, personal statements, assignments, custom coursework, and subject homework.
Graduate work gets the same treatment. Our thesis writing services cover proposals, single chapters, and complete manuscripts, with professional thesis writers matched to your field — from MBA thesis writing services for business students to dedicated PhD thesis writing service support, including specialised projects like law dissertations. Need thesis writing help with one stubborn chapter? That kind of targeted thesis writing assistance is priced by the page, exactly like an essay.
Because we keep an expert for every subject, your work is matched to someone who genuinely knows the field — including nursing and healthcare, law, business and MBA, finance, psychology, biology and the sciences, political science, philosophy, and the humanities.
Apex Essays runs a real, vetted team of academic writers — not an anonymous pool of freelancers. Every writer is screened for subject knowledge, research and citation ability, and a genuine command of US academic standards before they handle a single order. You can browse our writers by discipline, view their expertise, and get matched to the right person for your topic.
AI tools can produce text in seconds, but they invent sources that do not exist, miss the nuance of an argument, and cannot tell a strong reference from a plausible-looking one. A research paper or graded essay needs judgement that automated tools do not have: choosing credible sources, building a defensible argument, citing accurately, and matching your own academic voice.
Every Apex Essays paper is written and reviewed by a human expert. You get original reasoning, real references you can check, and writing that reflects genuine subject understanding — the difference between something that simply fills a page and work that actually earns a grade.
Good academic writing is a process, not a single draft. Once your requirements are in, your writer follows a clear path so the final paper is well-argued, properly sourced, and ready to submit.
Marks are often lost on formatting, not ideas. Our writers format your paper precisely in the style your course requires, so citations, headings, and the reference list are all correct.
Common in psychology, nursing, education, and the social sciences — author–date citations and a References page.
Standard for the humanities and literature — in-text citations and a Works Cited page.
Used in history and some business courses — notes-and-bibliography or author–date.
Widely used for business and management — author–date referencing with a reference list.
Sometimes an essay is due tomorrow. We handle urgent orders every day, and being honest about timelines matters more than empty promises. Shorter, well-defined papers can be turned around same-day; longer research work needs more time to research and cite properly. Tell us your exact deadline and we plan the work backward from it — prioritising research and structure first — so you receive a complete, properly sourced paper on time rather than a rushed one.
Yes. Using a professional writing service for model papers, research support, and reference material is legal, and we operate to keep you protected. Your identity is never shared with your writer, communication stays inside our platform, and payments run through secure, encrypted gateways. We provide original, reference-quality work to guide your own learning and writing, in line with our academic-use policy.
There are no hidden fees and no surprise charges, and it is worth being straight about what $7.89 per page actually is: a floor, not a flat rate. You get it at high school level, on a deadline of ten days or more, double spaced, at our standard tier. Five things move the price from there, and you control all five — your academic level, your deadline, the number of pages, line spacing, and whether you pick our Premium tier. A doctoral paper costs more than a high school one. An eight-hour deadline costs about three and a half times a ten-day one. Single spacing costs more than double, because it is more words on the same page. You see the exact price before you pay, and every order includes formatting, a reference page, and free revisions. Ongoing help — such as online class support — is available on flexible weekly plans instead.
If you set out to buy a cheap essay, this is the honest version of cheap: a low page rate with a vetted expert behind it, not a cut-rate rewrite. Get your exact price in seconds, then hand the writing to an expert who will get it done properly and on time.
Calculate My Price & OrderHiring a college essay writer at Apex Essays is designed to be as simple as possible. We believe that the process should never add to the stress of already overwhelming deadlines.
Instead, our system is streamlined, transparent, and student-friendly.
Students provide details about their essay topic, deadline, academic level, and special instructions. The more details provided, the better we can match the project to the right writer.
Our system connects students with the most suitable writer based on subject expertise, urgency, and academic experience. This ensures that the writer handling the essay is not just skilled but qualified in the specific field of study.
Students can monitor the essay's progress and communicate with their assigned writer. This transparent process ensures that the essay stays on track and aligned with expectations.
Once the essay is complete, students receive it on time and in the required format. Revisions can be requested to fine-tune the final draft.
This simple ordering process makes us not only the best place to hire writers but also the most reliable partner for continuous academic support.

Most essay advice online explains what an essay is. That is rarely the problem. These are the things students ask our writers once they are already stuck — the ones that cost marks quietly. Open any of them; you do not need to order anything to use this.
8 answers · tap any question to open itAlmost always: it answers the topic rather than the question. "Discuss the causes of the French Revolution" and "Assess which cause of the French Revolution was most significant" are the same topic and different essays. The first rewards coverage. The second rewards a judgement, and an essay that lists causes without ranking them has not attempted the task at all.
Take your question and underline the instruction verb — assess, evaluate, compare, to what extent, critically discuss. That verb is the assignment. Then read your introduction and ask whether it commits to doing that specific thing. If your opening says "this essay will explore" and the verb was "evaluate", you have already lost the marks for argument before the first body paragraph.
A quick test that works on any draft: cover the question and read only your conclusion. If someone could not reconstruct the question from it, the essay is describing rather than arguing.
A usable thesis has to be arguable, specific, and something you can support with the sources you have. "Social media affects teenagers" fails all three: nobody disagrees, it names no mechanism, and it points at no evidence.
Try the "so what, and who says otherwise" check. State your position, then ask what a reasonable person on the other side would say. If nothing comes to mind, it is not an argument, it is a fact — and facts belong in your body paragraphs, not your thesis. Rewritten with a mechanism and a stake, the example becomes something you can defend: "Algorithmic feeds harm adolescent sleep more through unpredictable reward timing than through total screen time." Now there is a claim, a comparison, and a place to put evidence.
Write it as one sentence and put it at the end of your introduction. If it needs three sentences, you probably have two essays.
The trap is organising by source. If your paragraphs run "Smith says… Jones says… Patel says…", you have written an annotated bibliography with linking words. Graders call it descriptive, and it caps your mark no matter how good the reading was.
Organise by claim instead. Write out the four or five things you want to prove, one line each. Then, under each claim, list which sources support it, which complicate it, and which disagree. Sources that appear nowhere are not in your essay, however long they took to read — and that is a normal outcome, not a waste.
This also fixes the "where do I put the counter-argument" problem. It goes under the claim it challenges, answered on the spot, rather than quarantined in a paragraph near the end where it reads like an afterthought.
As a working rule, quote when the exact wording is the evidence — a definition you will pick apart, a phrase from a primary document, a claim you are about to dispute and need stated fairly. Paraphrase for everything else.
Long quotations are usually a symptom rather than a style choice: they appear when a writer has not yet decided what the source is for. If you cannot say in one sentence why a quotation is in your paragraph, you are not ready to use it.
Whatever the balance, every borrowed idea needs a citation, paraphrased or not. Changing the words does not remove the obligation — unattributed paraphrase is the most common way honest students end up in an academic-integrity conversation.
They feel like padding because they usually are. The standard failure is an introduction that announces ("In this essay I will discuss…") and a conclusion that recaps ("In conclusion, as discussed above…"). Neither does any work.
An introduction has three jobs: establish why the question is worth asking, narrow to the specific problem you will address, and state your position. That is often four or five sentences. Write it last — you cannot introduce an argument you have not made yet, which is why first-draft introductions are nearly always wrong.
A conclusion should tell the reader what your argument means now that it has been made. What follows from it? What does it change about how the question is understood? If your conclusion could be moved to the start without anyone noticing, it is a summary, not a conclusion.
Stop writing new paragraphs. With one day left, structure earns more marks than volume.
Spend the first hour writing a one-line summary of every paragraph you already have, in order. Read the list on its own. You will usually find two paragraphs making the same point, one that belongs somewhere else, and a gap where the argument jumps. Fixing those three things is worth more than another five hundred words at the end.
Then make sure the essay has a real conclusion and that every citation is present, even roughly formatted. A missing conclusion and missing references lose marks mechanically, which is the most avoidable way to lose them. Polish the prose only if time is left; graders forgive an ungainly sentence far more readily than a missing argument.
You need to make it unfamiliar. Three things reliably do that, in ascending order of effort.
Read it aloud. Your ear catches what your eye skips — run-on sentences, repeated openers, the paragraph that never actually finishes its point. Second, change how it looks: a different font, or reading it on a phone instead of a laptop, is enough to break the pattern-recognition that hides your own mistakes. Third, read it backwards by paragraph, last to first. It strips away the narrative flow you have memorised and leaves each paragraph to justify itself.
Leave twelve hours between finishing and editing if you possibly can. Nothing else works as well, and it costs nothing but planning.
It is worth being plain about this, because the line is real and most institutions publish it.
Feedback, structural guidance, worked examples, proofreading, and model answers you study and write from are ordinary academic support — the same things a university writing centre offers. Submitting work as your own that you did not write is not, and no service can make that otherwise.
Our position is the same for every order: we write to your brief and deliver the work to you, you review it, and what you do with it is your decision and your responsibility. We never ask for your university login, we do not access your course, and we do not submit anything on your behalf. If you are unsure what your own institution permits, its academic-integrity policy is the authority — not us, and not any other service.
This section is not a pitch. It is a set of checks worth running on any writing service before you pay. Our own answers are here too, and you can go and test them.
8 answers · tap any question to open itStart with a study that bought the papers. In 2019, two researchers at Deakin University in Australia ordered 54 assignments from 18 essay sites and had them graded. They ran into problems with 83 percent of those 54 orders. Once the work was graded, 52 percent of it fell below the university’s pass standard.
Twelve of the 18 sites promised on-time delivery. Across the study, work arrived late on three occasions, and the sites responsible ignored every request for a progress update. One site said the paper was five hours away, several days after the deadline had already passed. It arrived a week later.
So test the things you can test. Search "essay writers for hire" yourself and look at what comes back: profile grids, star averages, bid marketplaces. None of it is checkable from outside. That includes the writer cards and the star average further up this page. Send a question before you buy and time the reply. Then look for something you can verify independently. We work from 12046 Voyager Pkwy in Colorado Springs. Three of our fifteen writer profiles link to a LinkedIn page, and twelve do not. We are not going to call that verification.
Because an advertised price is a floor, and floors sit at different depths. Ours is a floor too. The next answer shows the arithmetic.
The Deakin researchers found the sites in their sample advertised work from $15 to $20 AUD. That is not what they paid. Many of those sites, including ones presenting themselves as Australian, billed in US dollars. Card fees, international transaction charges and the day’s exchange rate all landed on top of the quoted figure.
The selling did not stop at checkout either. Every site in the study chased them after payment to sell upgrades, by email, phone, text and account message. One researcher changed the phone number on his account just to stop the calls.
So the front-page number tells you very little. Two questions do the real work. Which exact settings produce the advertised price? And what is the full total on screen, in your own currency, before your card details go anywhere? A service that hides the whole number until after you commit has told you something useful about itself.
The pricing section higher up this page explains why $7.89 is a floor and names the five things that move it. What it does not do is show you the arithmetic, so here it is.
Here is the arithmetic, so you can reproduce it. Undergraduate multiplies by 1.15. A five-day deadline multiplies by 1.337. So $7.89 × 1.337 × 1.15 = $12.13 a page, and five pages on those settings comes to $60.66. Switch the deadline to eight hours, our fastest, and the multiplier is 3.661. The same undergraduate page becomes $33.22. The most expensive page our form can build is $83.77: doctoral, eight hours, single spaced, premium. That is 10.6 times the floor.
One more thing before you open the form. It opens on Undergraduate with our shortest deadline already selected, so the first price you see is $33.22, not $7.89. Set the level to High School and the deadline to ten days or more, and the floor appears. We would rather tell you that here than have you find it and assume we were hiding it.
We sell one, so let us be exact about it. Our order form has a field called Paper Standard with two options, Standard and Premium Quality. Premium Quality adds 25 percent to the page rate. On that undergraduate five-day order it takes $12.13 a page to $15.16, so five pages cost $75.82 instead of $60.66. That is about the price of one extra page.
Now the part a sales page would leave out. The 25 percent is exact, straight out of our own pricing code. What Premium Quality changes is not written down anywhere on this site. So we are not going to describe it to you, because we would be inventing it. Ask us, get the answer in writing, then decide.
The research on these upgrades is not encouraging. The Deakin study bought 14 premium assignments at an average of $178.95 AUD, against 40 standard ones at $134.65 AUD. Premium was sold there as a top-ten writer, an in-house proofread and VIP support. The finding was blunt: paying more for premium quality work did not result in a higher quality product. Those premium papers still carried language errors and off-topic content.
So on any site, ours included, make the seller define the upgrade before you buy it.
This part is fully in your hands, and "upload your instructions" does not cover it. The assignment sheet is rarely the whole brief. Five things are worth adding.
The rubric. The grid your professor grades against shows where the points sit, and it is usually more specific than the question.
The citation style and its edition. APA 7 and APA 6 are not the same document, so name the one your class uses.
The counting rules. Say whether the word count includes references and block quotes, and whether first person is allowed. Departments disagree on both, and only yours counts.
The reading list. If you are expected to engage with set sources, name them.
Any position you already took, in class or in a proposal. Say what it was, so the draft develops that argument and not a different one.
Be this specific for a concrete reason. The Deakin researchers gave the sites a specific template for one health assignment — a government department’s own form — and half the sites they paid simply ignored it and used their own layout. Clear instructions are not proof they get followed, so send them plainly and check them on arrival. A writer can read a rubric. Nobody can read the half of a brief that exists only in your head.
Whatever its conditions say, and nothing more. The conditions are the part left off the sales page.
Many sites in the Deakin study displayed a "100% Money Back Guarantee". The researchers also found that no site would commit to a timeline for a revision. Revised work could therefore arrive after the due date. One site’s terms made orders non-refundable. Another reserved the right to contact a user’s own school with their order details. That applied if the user tried to claw the money back through their card provider.
Before you hire someone to write an essay, read the revision policy instead of the badge. Ours has limits, and we would rather you saw them here. We can limit or decline a revision in three cases. One, the request goes beyond the original scope. Two, the instructions were unclear when you ordered. Three, the same request comes back without a reason. A refund is considered in four situations. Work not yet started. A service we cannot deliver. A duplicate payment. Or work that does not follow your instructions. A quality claim has to name the specific problem, and an urgent order cannot be canceled once a writer has started it.
So read the revision clause, not the badge, on any site including this one. Ours is on our terms page, and it is the version that governs your order.
No. Treat it as a warning sign when someone does. Those tools belong to your school and to the companies that sell them. No writing service controls what they output, on a given text, on a given day, against a threshold someone else sets.
Regulators have started saying so out loud. On April 19, 2023 the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority published rulings against three separate essay services. All three were upheld. The ads carried lines such as "100% plagiarism free" and "100% non-plagiarized work". The ASA did not rule on whether the writing was original. It ruled on the overall impression the ads left: that a student could hand in purchased work as their own and face no risk. In one of the three, the objection was plain. The ad "made no reference to the risks involved" in buying work and submitting it as your own.
So here is the version you can check. Your work is written by a person, to your brief. A plagiarism and AI report comes with the order at no charge, and you read the result yourself. What that report says is a fact you can hold. What a detector says later is not ours to sell. Your own school’s academic-integrity policy is the authority on what you may do with the work, not us.
More than most buyers expect. It matters more here than it would if you were buying shoes.
The Deakin researchers read the privacy policy of every site they tested. Around 88 percent had one, usually in small print at the foot of the homepage. Some 87 percent recorded both identifying and non-identifying data, and 80 percent tracked how users moved around the site. Just under half, 47 percent, disclosed that they can or will pass personal details to third parties. Another 27 percent said they would not, and the last 27 percent said nothing either way.
Then there is the harder end of this. In June 2019 the UK’s Quality Assurance Agency reported that it was "increasingly hearing reports of students being blackmailed". Once a student has handed in work someone else wrote, QAA said, they are "vulnerable to further exploitation, potentially continuing following graduation". QAA also cited a Coventry University students’ union officer. In December 2018 that officer said several Coventry students had been blackmailed for up to £5,000 after using an essay-writing service.
So read the privacy policy before the pricing page. Ask what is stored, for how long, and who else sees it. Do not send identity documents to buy a piece of writing. And keep your school login out of it completely. We never ask for it, because the credential nobody can leak is the one we never held.
Searches like "pay someone to write my essay" bring people to this page every day, usually late at night, and usually worried. Most services answer that with reassurance. Here is the plain version instead: how it works, what your college's rules actually say, what you get, and what it costs.
8 answers · tap any question to open itThe process is less mysterious than it looks. You fill in the order form with your topic, deadline, academic level, page count, and citation style. You can upload the assignment brief and any readings your professor gave you, up to 25 MB per file. You pay, and the work goes to a writer in your subject.
An email confirmation reaches you right away. It comes from support@apexessays.com and carries an order ID. Our team contacts you after that. We do not run a student portal or issue accounts. So everything happens by email, WhatsApp, phone, or the live chat on this site.
When the work is finished, it is sent to you as a document. That is the end of our part. We never log in to your school account, and we never submit anything for you. We do not ask for your username or password, and you should not give them to any service that does.
What you do with that file is your decision. The responsibility for it is yours too, and our terms and disclaimer both say so.
Not us. Your college does, and the rule sits in three places: your course syllabus, your instructor's directions for the assignment, and your institution's academic-integrity policy. Read all three before you order anything.
The wording is usually blunt. Carnegie Mellon treats "submission of work completed or edited in whole or in part by another person" as unauthorized assistance. CUNY prohibits "submitting content generated by another person or an AI tool or any other source" as your own work. Its policy names commercial study or homework help websites in the same sentence. Your own policy may treat AI the same way. CUNY allows AI use only with the instructor's written authorization.
One rule follows from that. Permission comes from your instructor, not from a company. Carnegie Mellon puts that duty on the student. Where a course standard is unclear, "it is the student's responsibility to seek additional information and clarification."
Asking your professor is not an admission of anything. And we cannot give you permission. We write to your brief and send you the work. If your policy forbids submitting it, then it forbids that, and nothing a service says changes it.
You get a document in the format you asked for, with in-text citations and a matching reference list. A title page, the formatting, and the bibliography are included. An originality report is listed as free on the order summary, so you can request one with your order. We will not tell you what that report will say, because those checking tools are not ours to speak for.
Deadlines run from 8 hours to 30 days. Eight hours is the fastest we sell, and a shorter option was withdrawn in July 2026. A short, well-defined paper is realistic on a same-day clock. A long research paper needs days, because finding and checking real sources takes real time.
One warning about our own order form, because it surprises people. The deadline menu opens on "8 Hours" and the level menu opens on "Undergraduate." Those are two of the most expensive settings on the page. So the first price a new visitor sees is $33.22 a page, not $7.89. Set the deadline to 10 days or more and the level to High School, and it drops to the advertised floor.
Ask for a revision, and be specific. We fix the work at no charge when it does not follow the instructions you gave. Those instructions are the standard the work is measured against, so they decide what counts as wrong.
The requests we can act on all name the problem. Tell us which instruction was missed, which requirement was not met, or which section is off. Send the brief, the rubric, or your professor's feedback if you have it. A message that only says "poor quality" cannot be investigated or fixed.
Know the limits, because our terms set some. We can limit or decline a revision if the request goes past the original scope. The same is true if your instructions were unclear when you ordered, or if one request keeps coming back with no reason given. Our terms let us limit or decline a request that goes beyond the scope you originally set, so anything genuinely new is worth asking about rather than assuming.
So the accurate summary is narrower than a one-word badge can carry. You get free corrections measured against your own brief. Where a short marketing line and the written terms disagree, the written terms are the accurate version.
Refunds are narrower than most sites imply, so here is the real shape of ours. A refund may be considered in four situations. You paid and the work has not started. We cannot deliver. You were charged twice. Or the delivered work does not follow the instructions you supplied.
A quality claim has to be specific. Identify what was missed, and support it with the brief, the rubric, or your instructor's feedback. Vague claims are not refused out of spite. They simply cannot be assessed.
Now the part nobody advertises. A disappointing grade is not a refund reason when the work followed your instructions, because marking is your institution's judgment and not ours. Changing your mind is not a refund reason. Neither is finding another provider, and neither are expectations you never mentioned. Urgent orders are assigned and started at once, so they cannot be canceled for a refund once work has begun.
Partial refunds do exist for orders stopped part way, scaled to how much was done. And if something goes wrong, contact us before you open a card dispute. Our terms treat a chargeback filed without contacting us first as a breach.
Our advertised price is $7.89 a page. That is a floor, not a rate, and it helps to know why before you budget.
Five fields on the order form multiply the price: deadline, academic level, page count, line spacing, and one called "Paper Standard." The floor needs the cheapest setting of every one of them. That means high school level, ten days or more, double spaced, and Standard. Move any single field and the number rises.
Here is a worked example you can reproduce. Undergraduate work on a five-day deadline, double spaced, Standard, comes to $12.13 a page. Five pages of that shows $60.66 on the form. The same order at doctoral level on a one-day deadline is $31.83 a page. The highest per-page price the form can produce is $83.77.
Some choices cost nothing extra: your subject, your citation style, and the number of sources you request.
"Paper Standard" is the field to look at closely. It offers Standard and Premium Quality. Standard is the default, and it is what the $7.89 floor uses. Premium Quality adds 25 percent, or $3.03 a page on the example above. That moves the five-page total from $60.66 to $75.82. Ask us what it includes before you pick it.
Fair question, and the honest answer is a short list. Ordering gives us your name, email, phone number, country, the assignment details, and any files you upload. Our team uses those to do the work and to reach you.
Because we do not run a portal or issue accounts, we collect no usernames and no passwords. That includes your school's, which we will never ask for. Card details never reach us either. Payments run through a third-party provider, and we only receive confirmation that a payment went through.
Beyond that, information goes only to the payment processor, to technical providers who keep the site running, and to anyone the law requires. Our policy states that we do not sell or rent personal data. It also states that your assignment is not published or resold, and that your identity stays private.
You have rights here. You can ask what we hold. You can ask us to correct it, delete it, or limit how it is used. Email support@apexessays.com. Our stated turnaround is 7 to 14 business days, depending on the request. Readers in the EU and California have these rights under GDPR and the CCPA.
In practice, you have the file and we do not reuse it. Our privacy policy commits to that plainly: assignments are not shared publicly, documents are not resold or reused, and your identity stays private. No part of your paper is recycled into another order or added to a sample library.
Legally, treat the word "ownership" with care, here and on any competitor's site. Under US copyright law a transfer of copyright has to be documented. The statute says a transfer is "not valid unless" the conveyance is "in writing and signed by the owner of the rights conveyed." A sentence in a sales page is not that document. If a signed transfer matters for what you plan to do, ask us for one in writing before you order. Ask any other service for the same.
What transfers without any paperwork is responsibility. Once the work reaches you, how you use it is your call, and the outcome of that use is yours. Our terms and disclaimer both say it, and no service can carry that part for you.
